FAQ
Q - What size/type of vehicle will tow the trailer?
A - Your vehicle has a safe towing weight. You can find this out by looking at the sticker on the inside of the driver's door or your operator's manual. We provide all the weights and sizes of our trailers in the reservation section.
Q - Does the trailer have electric brakes? What type of wiring harness do I need?
A - All our trailers have electric brakes. A, 7 way wire harness is required at the vehicle to allow for the trailer brakes to work. We do have a 4way-7way adaptor you can rent. It requires a 12V power supply near the rear of the tow vehicle. The Apex Nanos use a Tekonsha Prodigy Remote Brake Controller,(a hand held brake controller is supplied). The TQX requires a vehicle with a brake controller installed.
Q - Are you Pet friendly?
A - We have a few trailers that are pet friendly. A $50 additional cleaning fee is charged.
Q - Can I use the trailer OFF grid?
A - Yes with limitations. Electrical connection is required to operate the air conditioning and microwave. The fridge and hot water heater can run off propane and uses the 12 volt system to function. The 12 volt system operates all the lights, water pump and awning controls. The battery will need to be managed and depending on length of trip, it may require charging. Charging can be done with a solar panel or generator. We provide these options for a fee and must be requested prior to the start of your trip.
Q - I have never used an RV before, is it hard?
